My Dad...

Being unable to celebrate Father's Day with our Dad's is quite sad. Since I can't be there to yell Happy Father's Day all day long to my dad every time I see him, I guess I'll just have to do it via Blog. My dad is an amazing man for many reasons so many that I will list them... in no particular order.

• He is loud
• He is generous
• He can ride a mule better than anyone I know
• He puts up with 4 obnoxious children and 5 screaming granddaughters
• He has such strong testimony in the church
• He looks like Kevin Costner
• He looses sleep over his children
• He raps the closing hymns in sacrament meeting
• He is 53 years old and can still rip it on skis
• He believes in my dreams as much as I do
• He dances with his giant dopey dog
• He pushes us to be better than he is...(which are big shoes to fill)
• He lets me beat him in golf
• He taught us how to work
• He loves and supports my mom in sickness and in health
• He actually wants to hang out with my husband
• He works his guts out to provide an amazing lifestyle for us all
• He needs dessert just like me
• He knows how cool I am

I have always looked up to my dad but as I get older I truly respect him and the example he is to me. I love him so much and am so lucky to have him as a father. Thank you dad for all that you have given and done for me. Happy Father's Day, I love you!
